CDM Co-ordination services
The easiest way of ensuring your construction projects are realistic, workable and profitable.
What is CDM Co-ordination?
CDM (Construction Design Management) Co-ordination covers a wide range of activities, but essentially looks at all aspects of Construction Design work, harnessing these to achieve the objectives of a project that is safe to build and safe to maintain and safe to demolish.
How is it important?
Any commercial organisation carrying out or arranging significant building or refurbishment work – either for itself or for a client - needs to consider if the project falls under Part 2 of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 (CDM). Generally, this means if the project will take more than 30 days and/or more than 500 ‘person’ days to complete.
If this is the case, Part 2 of the Regulations applies and you are required to appoint a CDM Co-ordinator.
